Account data: your name, email, role, and — for contestants — date of birth (used to verify you are 18+).
Content: photos, reels, captions, and the cities you enter.
Activity: votes you cast or receive, rankings, and notifications.
Technical: basic log and device information needed to run and secure the service. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account, verify age eligibility, display leaderboards and profiles, run voting, moderate content (including automated AI screening of uploaded media), send you notifications and optional weekly recaps, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
3. Cookies & sessions
We use session tokens to keep you signed in. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
4. Sharing
Your public profile, city entries, and rankings are visible to other users. We share data with service providers who help us operate CitysElite (for example, cloud hosting, media storage, AI moderation, email delivery, and authentication) only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You may delete your content or request account deletion at any time by contacting us; we will remove your account and associated content, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations.

7. Children
CitysElite is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will remove it.
